I've used about 5-6 different software programs, for scheduling to billing, patient accounting and all of it. SilkOne provides all of the functionality I expected, and even more than I need. The versatility and depth is really terrific, lot's of bells and whistles. The layout is right-on, all in a chiropractic specific flow and all of the compliance tools you need.
I suspect clinic billing staffers are uncomfortable with this program, it could cut their hours because it's so efficient to use. SilkOne Chiropractic Software seamlessly blends the systems of visit documentation and 3rd party billing .... with relative ease. The screens update and fill very quickly and the servers have not stumbled once on us. The initiation takes time, and the support is there with immediate email acknowledgments and fixes, like provider PINs for Medicare etc.
All my computers are Macs and it's not a problem because it's cloud based. Also, I can take care of tasks wherever I feel like. The visit notes are so simple, and once the patient is loaded for the first visit, it's smooth sailing. After the chiropractors build up all of the sentences/macro's, the system almost runs on it's own.

I have been using Silkone for over a year! I really researched all the software and even went to The largest trade showin our profession (Parker, Vegas) and spoke to every vendor before signing up with Silkone...They were the only company that did it all! Patient demographics and history filled out by the patient via a web portal. Patients can make their own appointments online, checkbalances, print receipts etc. they sign in on an iPad in the office to update their symptoms, the encounter is fast. Billing is fabulous!
It is Internet based, so you don't need a special software install. Customer service is phenomenal! It isn't as pretty as other softwared, but it makes up for it in efficiency.They are even adding a feature soon that let's the patient pay their balance online. We are waiting anxiously for that, since we currently use PayPal on our website. I highly recommend them!

I have been in practice for 20+ years and have used many softwares in my practice: ( RAPID, EZ BIZ, Report Master, SOAPe, Practice Studio, Platinum System, Clinic Dr) and have tested a lot more. I always was embarrassed to have my notes read by any body. No system matched what I wanted. I no longer have that embarassing fear and I know that the notes are BULLETPROOF compliant and fast...I have looked at systems and they all say yeah, you can write compliant notes, but how do you know? I am very excited to be able to use it as I admit there are times when life happens and I get a little behind in my documentation or the patient actually misunderstands initial instructions and just puts the symptoms in the system incorrectly. And so, there are times when you just have to do some catch-up work. This "same as last time symptoms button" makes it so easy to enter several day notes at one time if you need to. Of course, if everything is done correctly on the first visit, the system automatically carries over the symptom details from the last visit anyway. Right when I saw it, I knew it was developed by a real doc and not some computer geek lay-person who doesn't understand real-life functionality. The wrong software can make you lose your mind and your money. I do feel that if you aren't using SilkOne, you aren't making the best use of your time, effort and money. SilkOne Chiropractic Software doesn't charge anywhere near what it's worth.

During the past few months, my staff and I have started the major task of integrating our 23 year old practice away from our original software into SilkOne. I recently started using the Silkone chiropractic office solution. I can tell you without hesitation that this is truly a great system! I have been with a different software company for the past 15 years, using their billing system and SOAP note software. I often times reached a point of utter frustration due to the difficulty using their software, it was so slow that I would spend hours catching up on my daily notes. With SilkOne Chiropractic Software my notes are done at the end of the shift and the majority of billing has also been sent out by days end!!

I am a practicing chiropractor in South Jersey and have been in same location for 25 years. My software for my office was running very slow and became cumbersome for practical utilities which led me to consider upgrading my office software to another system. I began looking at systems in the late summer of 2010 and believe I have discussed, talked directly too, and reviewed almost every system available and there are many. I came across a SilkOne demo which seemed to be very easy to use but had a lot to offer for my office. After still many months of narrowing my new software system down to three choices I chose SilkOne.
There are many good systems on the market and the three I had narrowed down to would probably all have worked in an improved manner from my older system but it was SilkOne that had the most internal confidence in their own system which is what pushed them in front of the other two. I have been using a dedicated server system for my older system and considering a "cloud based" system at first was new and frankly a little scary to me and my office. However, after completing just a few demo's it was easily apparent that a cloud based system would not only be very easy to set up but can be reviewed from my home if needed as well. The confidence from the company is overwhelming. I have never felt taken advantage of in any manner as everything is very clear to understand. SilkOne required no contract or commitment as they are confident that once I am using the system I will not leave (which is very true). There was only a small fee for training time and no equipment to purchase as all that is required is an internet connection. SilkOne Chiropractic Software has a monthly service fee and the service has been outright extraordinary.
I would not put my name on anything if I wasn't confident of the service provided and to date every time any of my office staff has needed to get in contact with SilkOne we have always reached either a live person or had a call back in a very timely manner. Every question has been answered in an extremely courteous manner and we have had suggestions and ideas which are specifically targeted just for my office and all suggestions have been accommodated in positive manner. I am a very happy and truly satisfied SilkOne Chiropractic Software customer and am also very happy that I have made the correct decision for my office. The use of SilkOne from one screen to another is performed with very few clicks and the abilities of this program seem endless and I am excited to see how SilkOne is able to make my time more efficient to service my patients.

Since I began using Silk my notes are always done when I leave my office. Another real awesome thing about silk is the billing portion. I have fired my outside biller (saved about $1500 a month) and now do my billing 3 times a week from my PC in my office. It takes me just a few minutes to send out my claims and I get paid in about 10-15 days on most of my insurance claims, thats really cool.

While switching over to your software your support even stepped in and helped resubmit Medicare files that had been problem children for us.

I just filed a few non-medicare and didn't have any issues. So far with my acute care medicare patients the scrubber worked perfectly. I will check some of my maintenance patients tomorrow to make sure all aspects are ok on the scrubber.

What I like most about this software is the patient portal. It allows us to send a link to a new patient so they can fill out their intake form online. The information from the intake form gets automatically populated into the system so there is no double entry of the data. This saves a lot of time for both the staff and the doctor. Also being able to access the software from any device (I have even scheduled patients for appointments at health fairs, etc on my phone) is a huge plus.
